Disari – also known to friends as Dish or Pami – is a graduate student from Kolkata, India. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Viterbi. A proud Trojan, Disari loves the Trojan spirit! She also loves the diverse population USC has to offer.
A little-known fact about Disari is that she does not enjoy watching movies at all – unless they are those of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan! Her favorite artists are Backstreet Boys and Coldplay. Disari’s most memorable travel experience thus far has been her visit to the Himalayan foothills with her grandparents. If she could possess any superpower, it would be the ability to communicate with animals!
Disari actively volunteers for orientations and Welcome Weeks on campus, and works at OIS events and other cultural events. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, playing with dogs, and watching Supernatural. Her ideal job after graduation would be to work as a data scientist or analyst.
