The Office of International Services is excited to announce that Jennie Fitzgerald has joined our team as an International Student Advisor.
A Massachusetts native who has lived in the Los Angeles area for five years, Jennie has embraced the warm SoCal weather, and loves exploring all that California has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, yoga, photography, preparing vegan meals, hiking, traveling, and thrift shopping. Her family and friends would describe her as caring, introspective, silly, and humble.
Prior to joining OIS, Jennie was with the USC International Academy where she has advised international students on F-1 visa regulation and academics for the past three years. Before joining the USC family, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University, taught English in Thailand, and served as DSO/PDSO for various Kaplan International schools, from Massachusetts to Whittier, California. Her passion for cross cultural building, student wellness, and immigration policy has carried her throughout her career.
Jennie looks forward to keep serving USC’s international student community in this new role. Please help us welcome her to OIS and make her feel at home.
