Dear New Trojans,

On behalf of the Office of International Services (OIS), I would like to welcome all new students to the University of Southern California. We are honored you chose to continue your education at USC, and we look forward to ensuring you have a great experience during your time as a student.

The mission of OIS is to help international students and scholars make the most of their USC experience. So whether you are here for a semester or for several years, OIS staff are available to advise on a variety of topics, including helping you understand the current immigration regulations and requirements affecting your stay in the U.S. New international students will soon begin to receive a weekly newsletter, the International Update, which provides updates about immigration regulations, career-related events, cultural programs, and social engagement opportunities. Stay tuned!

The year 2020 has been a trying time for many of us, but we want to remind you that you are not alone, no matter where you may be located at the moment. Though, we may not be able to physically gather right now, USC has organized a series of virtual welcome events for students to get to know the university and each other, such as this week’s Involvement Fair. No matter what your interests are, you will be able to find an event or activity to get involved in this semester, so take a look at Experience USC, which is a virtual Trojan community just for you.

We wish you the very best as you embark upon your own personal USC experience.

Fight On!
