Dear Students:
I want to personally welcome you to campus. To those who are joining the university as a newly admitted student, we are glad you are here to begin your academic program at USC. To those who are continuing students, welcome back. We are excited to partner with you again to ensure you successfully finish another academic year.
As we come together to begin the fall 2022 semester, I am reminded of how the diversity of our students and scholars from over 130 countries is what makes USC such a unique and amazing place to study. I’ve been at USC for over 20 years and each year I am amazed at how exceptional our international community is; you bring with you a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes USC a world-class institution.
OIS’ hope is that this academic year you will learn and share knowledge that will prepare you to eventually work and collaborate in a global society. You are valued members of our community, and we are here to support you. The staff at OIS can help you understand immigration rules and regulations and navigate campus resources available to you. We want your time in the U.S. to be as rewarding as possible.
