Presidential Proclamation on Entry Restrictions for Certain Foreign Nationals

On June 4, 2025, the White House issued a presidential proclamation that imposes entry restrictions on nationals of 19 countries. The USC Office of International Services (OIS) has sent messages to impacted members of our international community, and will continue to communicate directly with them.  If you are on F-1 or J-1 status and a national of one of the 19 countries, please ensure you are in contact with the Office of International Services by email or through drop-in advising.

We understand the distress this announcement may cause for some members of our international community, and we want to emphasize what USC President Carol Folt has shared: that international students and scholars are vital members of our Trojan Family, enriching our student experience and the global tapestry of Los Angeles.
