Fall break is coming up this Thursday and Friday, bringing us a much-needed break from midterms! To help you make the most of your 4-day weekend, we’ve compiled a list of things to do over the break:

Driving out

The great thing about living in Los Angeles is that you can access vastly different landscapes in drives of under 2 hours! This fall break, take a day trip and enjoy the waves at Laguna Beach or Balboa Island, spend a quiet day in picturesque Ojai or Oak Glen, or soar the skies in a hot air balloon at Temecula. If you’d rather enjoy a more relaxed vacation, book out a place for the entire weekend!

Staying in

Would you rather stay in Los Angeles? There’s still plenty to do in the city this fall break! Celebrate October with a trip to a pumpkin patch, or go apple picking in an orchard. Theme park fans can visit Knott’s Scary Farm and Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights for some spooky fun, now with discounted tickets from USC Ticket Office! If horror isn’t your thing, you can always visit a comedy club or check out the LA Beer & Food Festival for a delicious day out!

Staying fit

Alternately, make the most of the cooler weather and explore California’s rolling hills! Hike up to the Hollywood Sign, check out the hidden swing at Elysian Park, or enjoy the spectacular waterfall at the end of the Eaton Canyon Trail!
