Darshan is from India, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Metallurgy and Material Science. Upon graduation, he came to USC in order to pursue a master’s degree in Materials Engineering at USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering.
Darshan’s goal is to acquaint himself with as many different cultures as he can, interact with new people, and hopefully learn some new languages along the way. Alongside his regular studies, he has always enjoyed being part of a group. Here at Viterbi, he functions as secretary for the Mork Family Department’ Master Student Association (MFDMSA). As a member of MFDMSA, Darshan strives to bring together students from a variety of different backgrounds by hosting fun events, as well as helping them with their school planning. Along with his work at OIS, Darshan is well on his way to achieving his goal of international exposure.
