Treesia was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. After obtaining her BA in Spanish at Howard University she relocated to Chicago, Illinois for her first job within Media Advertising. After two frigid winters, her job relocated her to Los Angeles, California where she then enrolled into the MAT-TESOL program at Rossier School of Education.

Treesia speaks English and Spanish and is of Salvadorian and African-American heritage.

Upon completion of her graduate studies she hopes to travel internationally and further help empower students in their second language journeys. As a result of her passion for languages, Treesia strives to learn a third language in the next few years. She also enjoys trying new, spicy foods, relaxing at the beach, and taking dance classes.

Treesia’s goal for the end of the semester is that each student feels significantly more confident to interact with other English speakers. Let the fun begin!
