Tomine is an undergraduate sophomore student from Gjerdrum (Oslo-Area), Norway. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Tomine loves meeting all the amazing people at USC.

A little-known fact about Tomine is that she took voice classes for two years in high school but told no one, so her friends are very surprised when it comes up! Her musical taste is quite widespread, but she has recently been listening a lot to Lauv, Finneas, and Young the Giant. Her most memorable travel experience thus far has been her solo trip to Peru last summer. If she could possess one superpower, it would either be flying or the ability to understand and communicate in every language!

Tomine is a member of Delta Phi Epsilon (the professional fraternity for foreign service and international relations), the Scandinavian Student Society, and SC Outfitters. In her spare time, Tomine enjoys hiking, reading, and hanging out with friends. Right after graduation, Tomine would like to do humanitarian field work. In the long run, she wants to work for a non-profit or something similar with the intersection of environmental issues and peacebuilding, conflict, or human security.
