Vishal is a graduate student from Mumbai, India. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Informatics at Viterbi. He enjoys being a student at USC due to its longstanding and admirable heritage.
A little-known fact about Vishal is that he has watched the entirety of The Office (US) at least 7 times, and does not plan on stopping anytime soon. His favorite Indian artists are Agnee and Arijit Singh, while his favorite Western artists are Led Zeppelin, City of Sun, Dream Theatre, and Adele. Vishal’s favorite travel experience to date has been his senior trip to Goa, since he got to plan his own trip and in the process, try out some great food and meet some amazing people! If he could possess any superpower, it would be the ability to convince anyone on anything he wanted.
Vishal attends a lot of events hosted by or at USC throughout the year. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the drums, swimming, biking, playing badminton, and trying out new games to unwind and relax. After graduation, Vishal wants to be a deep learning researcher, and would ideally like a job in machine learning or neural networks research at Google Brain or DeepMind.
