The Office of International Services is excited to announce Holly Lee joined our team as an International Student Advisor 1 on September 6, 2022.

Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Los Angeles, California, Holly has first-hand experience in living through the full spectrum of pursuing an international education. As an Angeleno, Holly can be found exploring new coffee shops, eclectic eateries, latest museum exhibits, and pursuing a bit of zen in yoga/meditation classes, all throughout the diverse neighborhoods of LA  (Koreatown, Echo Park, Arts District and Little Tokyo being her favorites).

Holly earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in International Business, from California State University of Long Beach. During her undergraduate studies, she studied in Paris, France at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, immersing herself in the French language and culture. It is through her study abroad experience, that she found her love of travel (having visited 15 countries and counting!) and desire to help others in pursuing an international education. She is an advocate of international education and culture exchange, with the belief that we are enriched and enlightened, individually and collectively, through our experiences with diversity and fostering a global perspective.

Prior to joining OIS, Holly has been immersed in the field of real estate and brings with her a depth of experience in compliance, auditing contracts and applications, and working with government agencies. Throughout her career, she found that her primary passion and drive was in helping others; one of her favorite life quotes being…“However, I continue to try and I continue, indefatigably, to reach out. There’s no way I can single-handedly save the world or, perhaps, even make a perceptible difference – but how ashamed I would be to let a day pass without making one more effort” (Isaac Asimov).

Holly is thrilled to call OIS her new home and to be of service to USC’s international student community in this new role.
