Francisco Gonzalez has joined OIS as Administrative Assistant. In this role he will be working at the OIS front desk, handling paperwork and answering general questions. A southern California native, Francisco grew up in Boyle Heights and studied Kinesiology at San Diego State University. He is currently a graduate student in the Public Administration program at California State University, Long Beach and will continue his studies while working at OIS.

During his undergraduate career, he worked for three years at the San Diego State University International Student Center. He also acted as an Education Opportunity Program (EOP) campus representative, as a Peer Leadership Consultant for student life, and as an International Peer Mentor. Francisco was also the Vice President of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi. He enjoys working with international students and looks forward to interacting with the USC student community.

Francisco is passionate about giving back to the inner community of Los Angeles. He spends his free time volunteering with his fraternity, organizing events like clothes drives and water bottle drives. He also helps out with the Man Up program, where he mentors middle school-aged boys. In the future, he hopes to follow his passions and work in student affairs or in the public sector.
