USC’s International Offices in China and the USC Career Center collaborated with China-based talent company HelloCareer to co-host a career fair for top students graduating from U.S. universities.
With over 130 Fortune Global 500 companies represented and over 1,750 Chinese graduates from U.S. universities in attendance, the event is among the most prestigious of its kind. Over 250 students and alumni from USC attended the event and were given the opportunity to connect with companies such as PwC, JP Morgan, China electronics, and Apple, to mention but a few. The fair benefited from a significant amount of media attention, with over 20 media outlets providing coverage throughout the event.
“The 2016 China Career Fair is a testament to USC’s commitment to lifelong and worldwide Trojan support. USC strives to create more opportunities for career success, including those who leave the U.S. after graduation” said Matthew Erskine, USC Associate Vice Provost of Strategic and Global Initiatives.
Those who missed this year’s event need not worry. Both participating companies, their recruiters, and USC students and alumni expressed great interest in ongoing participation in years to come!
