Due to ongoing receipt notice processing delays, USCIS is allowing post-completion OPT applicants to file Form I-765 up to 120 days before their program end date. This additional time is applicable to post-completion OPT applications received by USCIS through October 31, 2021.
For USC students, this means Fall 2021 graduates with a program end date of December 15, 2021 may apply for a post-completion OPT I-20 from OIS as early as August 17, 2021.
