Approval for J-1 scholars to conduct in-person research prior to 1/1/2021 must be approved by the university and the school’s Research Vice Dean. A list of approved Research Vice Deans is provided below.
To request an exception to the 1/1/2021 start date, the Department Contact may email the following items to j1exchg@usc.edu:
